Résumé : | During a five-months period, 5 cases of cardiovascular toxicity related to chemotherapy were observed. Various hypotheses are discussed to explain the pathogenicity of this type of toxicity. Cardiovascular risk factors may favor this toxicity. In the presence of known cardiovascular risk factors, the choice of a less toxic regimen is desirable and, if this is not possible, the patient should be treated with continuous monitoring of the vital parameters. |
