Abstract de conférence
| Résumé : | Despite increasing attention to female athletes, the effects of the menstrual cycle (MC) on athletic performance remain unclear. Menstrual cycle phase does not appear to influence VO₂max or sleep quality. Besides, symptom burden and reduced wellbeing during menstruation do no seem to impact VO2max, even though these factors, rather than cycle phase alone, may be relevant for individual athlete monitoring, coaching, and injury prevention. |
