Résumé : In the diagnostic evaluation of edematous (and non-edematous) lymphatic diseases, the physicians are faced with several problems related: To their attempts (which questions to ask and which answers to seek for the purposes of establishing a diagnosis, ruling out differential diagnoses, but also selecting the appropriate treatment for the patient, and sometimes identifying latent lymphatic diseases) To the imaging techniques themselves (Bourgeois et al. Cancer 83:2805–2813, 1998; Bourgeois Lymphedema: a concise compendium of theory and practice, Springer, 2011; Bourgeois Lymphology 45:56–60, 2012; Bourgeois Lymphedema: presentation, diagnosis and treatment, Springer, 2015). In this chapter, we will review the different techniques that we have found useful in the context of our clinical practice in the face of patients presenting these situations.
