| Résumé : | T cells are defined by expression of a heterodimeric T cell receptor (TCR); either TCRa paired with TCRb (TCRab), or TCRg paired withTCRδ (TCRgδ). While much is known about TCRab T cells, gδ T cells remain somewhat of an enigma, perhaps best exemplified by theuncertainty that has surrounded the role of TCRgδ in both gδ T cell development and function. Here, some of these issues arereviewed, with specific emphasis on the structure of TCRgδ and recent insights regarding the ligands to which it binds. |
