Abstract de conférence
| Résumé : | In this work we investigate how information is visibilized by Facebookpages structured over two poles either supporting or protestingmigration in Belgium. To analyze the interactions between 11 000 pageswho composed that extended mobilization space we design a network madeof their shared publications and identify subgroups within thenetwork. This contribution shows that at the fringe of a vast, pageswhich publish cross-cutting content, bridging potential epistemicbubbles, tend to be generated by actors who produce and supportalternative worldview. Indeed, pages acting as bridges between thesupporter and protester appears to be organized around two topics. Onthe one hands such pages display distrust in the traditional andmainstream media on the other hands, they oppose currents economicalor political systems. |
