Résumé : The concept of electrochemical nucleation and growth (EN&G) on active sites has been of great interest both from a fundamental and technological standpoint for many decades. In the case of EN&G on a foreign substrate, we aimed to explore the possibility of obtaining information about the state of the substrate and the behaviour of small clusters. To achieve this, we deviated from the conventional macroscopic approach and leveraged the Scanning Electrochemical Cell Microscopy (SECCM) to individually probe and analyse individual sites on the same surface. This allowed us to uncover intriguing site-dependent activity patterns at the microscale.
