Résumé : | Background: Patient satisfaction is a key measure for physiotherapists. There is a lack of valid questionnaires assessing this construct in a French-speaking context. This study aimed to translate, adapt and validate the Physical Therapy Outpatient Satisfaction Survey. Methods: The questionnaire was translated into French and administered to a sample of 85 patients recruited from 2 hospitals in a metropolitan area. Factor structure was assessed using Exploratory and Confirmatory Factor Analysis. Internal consistency and test-retest reliability were assessed using mean inter-item correlation and intraclass correlation coefficients, respectively. Results: Factorial analysis revealed that the French version of the questionnaire is a scale comprising the following dimensions: Location, Physiotherapist, Personnel and Flexibility. Internal consistency was good for all dimensions, and test-retest reliability was moderate for Location and good for the remaining dimensions. Conclusions: The French version of the questionnaire has good psychometric properties. Level of evidence: NA. |
