Résumé : Interdisciplinary collaboration is pivotal to the success of architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) projects. Our investigation delves into collaboration dynamics within Belgian construction projects through a questionnaire survey, completed by 78 practitioners. Utilizing a self-assessment collaboration maturity grid, our study provides a nuanced analysis of key collaborative components. Findings highlight the critical need to enhance communication efficiency, mutual goals, and trust, while also revealing the influence of project phase and budget on various collaborative dynamics. These insights pave the way for further research to deepen our understanding of the sector and develop strategies to improve collaboration within Belgian construction projects.
