| Résumé : | Gluteal reshaping and augmentation can be safely and effectively accomplished with a moderate amount of fat grafting following extensive power-assisted liposuction of the surrounding anatomy. Preoperative marking will guide the level of liposuction in each area, particularly the lower back and flanks, where thorough liposuction in itself improves the contour of the buttocks. The use of absorbable barbed threads as gluteal suspension loops will also improve definition and recruit additional tissue into the buttocks, so the desired appearance can generally be achieved with the subcutaneous grafting of a smaller volume of fat. |
