Résumé : | The paper presents application of the spatial analysis and GIS mapping tools towards studies of the sustainability of the ecosystem conditions of the šumava National Park in Western Bohemia. Methods of work include Quantum GIS software (QGIS) and remote sensing data (satellite images) for the geobotanical studies. Based on spatial-temporal analysis raster satellite images of 1991 and 2009 have been processed and land cover changes analysed. Mathematical algorithms built-in functions for QGIS was able to handle pictures and get information for geo-environmental modeling and mapping. The classification of the images showed changes in landscapes, which consist in the dynamics of the vegetation-soil cover types since 1991. Presented two maps show land cover types for 1991 and 2009 years, respectively. |
