Résumé : This work is the result of a decade of professional and personal investment in Iranian territory. A dive into the heart of a diverse, complex, little-known and still misunderstood society. While the literature devoted to Iran is already vast and abundant, this thesis is unique in that it takes an Iranian perspective on a subject that has received little attention until now: women's soccer. In addition to shedding light on the construction of women's soccer in a socio-political context such as Iran, a country that is moreover difficult to access and often analyzed from a Western perspective, this research contributes to filling gaps in documentation on the contribution of the female population to the history of soccer in a Muslim context; enriching studies on resistance (Resistance studies), in particular by proposing the concept of "circumstantiated resistance". This work represents a rare academic source of a singular and constitutive moment in the history of women's soccer in the Islamic Republic of Iran.
