Résumé : | The “exnovation” concept helps to understand the linkages between a range of developments in business ecosystems and business models that at first sight seem unconnected: the phasing out of coal plants, the decline of traditional retail, the de-materialisation of economic production, the decline of industrial regions, the various policies introduced to get rid of polluting vehicles, or Marie Kondo’s influential advice on “decluttered” consumer lifestyles. Which weak signals of an emerging exnovation mindset can we distinguish? What elements of Circular Economy transitioning and which changes in the business ecosystem does it indicate? How can businesses use the concept to inform Circular Economy transition strategies? |
