Résumé : Kunara, a 7-9 ha site in Iraqi Kurdistan, is being excavated since 2012 in the framework of the Mission archéologique française du Peramagron. Located in the Zagros foothills, near Suleymaniyeh, it yielded levels mostly dated to the very end of the 3rd millennium BC. This article (in two parts1) presents the results of the sixth excavation campaign in 2018. Three areas (B, C, and E) were opened. In Area B, work focused on two sectors: the entrance of the main building (B. 712) and the northwest corner of building B. 714. In Area C, the main objective was to bring to light the northwest part of the Area, especially the building B. 517 and its surroundings. In Area E, three rooms of the public edifice B. 659 were excavated over their entire surface. This paper also presents a preliminary report on the lithic artefacts and on the cuneiform tablets discovered in 2018.
