Résumé : | In recent years, we have seen a rise in the use of the French term ‘unplaceable’to describe a certain category of young patients whose needs cannot be met by institutions and who are thus passed on from one to the next. Based on a presentation of the life and hospitalisation history of a young girl aged 10 presenting with disorganised insecure attachment and symptoms of post-traumatic dissociation, this article explores the different components of her care. These components focus in particular on the importance of creating a variety of bonds and transferential relationships within the care unit, within the care institution and between that institution and its partners within the child’s network. The importance and use of certain objects as well as a co-therapy treatment model involving a psychologist and a physiotherapist are proposed. Finally, the article presents the young girl’s own account created using sand play. |
