Résumé : This transformation of the European Union governance can also have very relevant consequences for: • its external action; • its external role as a laboratory for multilateralism. This chapter will focus on the implications of the Eurozone crisis for the reshaping of EU economic governance. It will elaborate on the possible choices for pursuing this process in the larger framework of the European Union as a laboratory for multilateralism and supra-national governance. Some lessons from the available international experience will also be drawn. The impact of the Eurozone crisis on the EU external action will also be analysed.
