Résumé : The text is focused on the Second Russian Avant-Garde stiobby and subversive aesthetic praxis. In particular, it analyses Mikhail Grobman’s oeuvre sub specie various irreverent techniques which include left-wing politics and cynic tradition, drawing a conceptual parallel between Avant-Garde’s life-creational épatage and Surrealist patterns of discursive terror. The paper reflects on a characteristic synthetic nature of the Avant-Garde which puts equal emphasis on visual art and verbal poetry. The analysis goes further into radical artistic gestures that contributed to a unique stance offered by formation of this cultural paradigm.
