Résumé :

The objective of this paper is to demonstrate the widespread and sophisticated use of advanced financial techniques in the Late Medieval Low Countries and the ways in which those financial tools helped foster regional economic and financial integration between the end of the thirteenth century and the middle of the fourteenth century.
