Résumé :

The conceptual axis of ‘life-creation’ may be uniquely relevant to the Modernist culture in its totality. An interesting creative attitude of a very peculiar character becomes evident during the early developmental stages of historical Russian Modernism. This propensity finds expression in different ways of dealing with one’s personal (life) behaviour in the context of a) Symbolism as the movement of Decadence, and b) the Avant-Garde, including Futurists, Konstruktivists, Suprematists and others.
