| Résumé : | À partir de quelques extraits de carnets de terrain, ce texte s’intéresse aux difficultés d’« accès au terrain » pour y réfléchir non pas en terme d’accessibilité mais en adoptant une « perspective du corps » (William James), c’est-à-dire comme démarche incarnée de production de connaissance avec – et non contre ou malgré – ses informateurs et leurs multiples manières de résister à l’enquête. |
| Based on a few excerpts from a field notebook, « Epistemology in the flesh. Field investigation and its difficulties as embodied knowledge production » looks at the difficulties of « access to the field » in order to reflect on it not in terms of accessibility but in terms of a « perspective of the body » (William James), i. e. as an embodied process of knowledge production with – and not against or despite – its informants and their multiple ways of resisting investigation. |
