Résumé : Non-small cell lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer deaths globally and also in Latin America. Several treatment strategies are available, such as surgery and radiotherapy for early-stage disease, and chemotherapy, immunotherapy and targeted therapies for metastatic patients. The decision on which treatment is more appropriate for each patient depends on performance status, comorbidities, tumour staging, availability of resources, and risk of toxicities. A multidisciplinary approach involving medical oncologists, surgeons, radiation oncologists, respire-atory medicine specialists and palliative care doctors is essential for successful treatment of NSCLC. This chapter will discuss the main treatment strategies for NSCLC in Latin America, focusing on the limitations, singularities, and perspectives of NSCLC treatment in this region.
