| Résumé : | Over the last two decades, the interest and research regarding four-membered rings containing one selenium or tellurium atom has been rather limited. Nevertheless, some of these rings, mainly selenetanes, have still risen some interest both from a synthetic and a reactivity point of view. They have also been at the origin of some computational studies, and applications in biochemistry or for the synthesis of metallic complexes: they will be described and discussed in this chapter, along with the essential concepts from previous editions. |
