| Résumé : | Over the last two decades, the interest and research regarding four-membered rings containing one oxygen and one sulfur atom has significantly faded since most syntheses, as well as their reactivity, have been extensively studied previously. Nonetheless, some of these rings, mainly β-sultones, have still risen some interest both from a synthetic and a reactivity point of view. New synthetic pathways, reactions and theoretical studies concerning these heterocycles will be described and discussed in this chapter, along with the essential concepts from previous editions. |
