Résumé : A summary of the biochemistry, pharmacology and the synergic effect of alpha chymotrypsin and phenylbutazone is given. A comparative study was carried out between 2 series of 30 patients suffering from rheumatic diseases, chronic or acute, but noninfectious. Some were treated only by ultrasound, the others by association of alphakadol and ultrasound. This therapeutic association reveals itself as efficacious for arthritis and tendinitis. The results are less obvious for arthrosis.
