Résumé : The readaptation of an hemiplegic person is the work of a medical team of doctors, neurologists, nurses, physiotherapists occupational therapists, psychologists, speech therapists and social workers. The restoring of motor abilities begins by an analytical training of the reflexes and the associated movements, in order to incorporate the movements obtained by voluntary motor ability. It is needless to apply one 'method' but to proceed by methods of facilitation which sould be applied to the motor deficiency to be corrected and the results obtained. A new motor organisation will then be created and by apprenticeship and retraining in the activities of daily living will become functional. (Journal received: September 1976)
