| Résumé : | After a recall on the periodic wave: amplitude frequency, speed of propagation, wavelength and absorption, we apply these elements to both kinds of propagation: longitudinal and transverse wave. From the value of the reflected intensity, we show the possibility of detecting defects with different modes by technical applications. |
