Résumé : Iterative localization has recently arisen as apromising solution to determine the position of a MobileStation (MS) in a cellular network. We recently showed thatiterating between the conventional delay estimation and multilaterationsteps allows to approach the performance of thedirect localization. In this paper we present a new formulationof our iterative localization method that drastically reduces thecomputational effort compared to our original implementation.Simulation results prove that the proposed low complexity iterativealgorithm performs close to the direct localization schemewhile presenting a limited complexity increase compared to theconventional two-step approach.
