Résumé : An illuminated manuscript in a private collection is extensively discussed. Small and exquisite, it seems rather a gem than a real prayerbook. It is akin to the Breviarium Grimani and the Oxford ms., made for Engelbert of Nassau and belongs to the so-called Gand-Bruges school of about 1500. It consists of 58 pages, written in a calligraphic elegant Burgundian script and contains 11 full-page miniatures and several others. It is highly probable that the red velvet binding and the "pipe" are original though part of the clasp may be of a later period. In the colophon, this important manuscript is dated in 1511 and located at Antwerp.
