Résumé : The authors have studied the clinical effects of Benorylate on 30 outpatients affected by various rheumatic diseases. They have obtained 30% excellent results, 26.6% good results and 20% moderate results, i.e., 76% therapeutic successes and 24% failures. Gastro intestinal and cochleo vestibular side effects were observed but only at relatively high doses (8 g per day). Serious side effects which justify an interruption of the treatment were observed only in 10% of the cases. One cutaneous allergy must also interrupt the treatment. With a reduction of the posology to 4 g per day, side effects have disappeared in 75% of the patients who had presented it. Benorylate appeared thus as a good non steroidal anti inflammatory drug.
