Résumé : A histopathologic study of the thymus in man aided in the detection of 14 cases with a granulomatous process containing macrophages and multinucleated giant cells. These cells are seen at the place of contact with the Hassall bodies. They break down the structure of these bodies and lead to their disappearance. These resorptive granulomatous phenomena illustrate a not well known aspect of the Hassall corpuscles.
