Résumé : An attempt (a questionnaire to 300 doctors; 100 answered) was made to investigate the professional life of a specialist in physical medicine and whether the technics were specifically used or not. It has been found that a majority of patients complained of low back pain. The selected treatments were for: low back pain - short waves, massage, ultrasounds; cervical pain - ultrasounds, massage, centimetric waves; and periarthritis of the shoulder - ultrasound, diadynamic currents and massage. The technic of choice was ultrasound.
