Résumé : It appears from a preliminary double study that a new non steroidal anti inflammatory drug Rofenid, could provide some benefit to patients undergoing treatment for osteoarthritis of the hip. The statistical analysis was made according to the sequential technique. Of 23 patients, major intolerances occurred in 2 cases and minor intolerances in 5 cases. Newly diagnosed cases were treated more easily with this method than previous cases which had been treated for several mth with other drugs without any success. Age and sex did not effect the results. It seems worthwhile to continue this study in open trials.
