Résumé : Bilateral carotid artery thrombosis is a rare condition first described in the 16th century. When the condition is diagnosed, the prognosis is a bleak one. Various clinical and etiopathological aspects of the condition are described in the light of 7 cases. 4 of the patients were women aged 64, 62, 47 and 68; the men were 58, 68, and 74 years old.
