Résumé : | We demonstrate femtosecond supercontinuum generation in a silicon waveguide. Despite the strong nonlinear absorption inherent to silicon at telecom wavelengths, we experimentally demonstrate that the compression and subsequent splitting of higher order solitons remains possible. © 2014 OSA. |
