Résumé : This article analyzes initial results concerning the links between Romanian and Russian ballets during the Cold War. Cooperative relations are held, sometimes challenged by defectors who prefer the West to develop their international career. This brings Romania to be considered as a suitable ground for research on ballet, torn between East and West, in the training of dancers, repertoire or ballet tours.
