Résumé :

A refutation of the criticisms expressed in the paper entitled “Evolution of Chain Microstructure and Kinetics of Reaching Equilibrium in Living Reversible Copolymerization” by R. Szymanski, S. Sosnowski, and M. Cypryk (Macromol. Theory Simul.2016, 25, 196) about the article entitled “Kinetics and Thermodynamics of First-Order Markov Chain Copolymerization” (J. Chem. Phys. 2014, 141, 044908) is presented here. With this aim, a comparison is made between reversible living copolymerization processes taking place in either closed or open reactors.
