| Résumé : | Among the Greek texts published in appendix to the report of the excavations held by the Università degli Studi di Milano in Madinat Madi during the years 1968-1969 there are eleven Proto-Byzantine ostraca bearing receipts for an unexpressed tax. All the documents exhibit a very similar formulary. In the present article, beside a re-edition of those texts, we publish a few new kindred receipts hailing from the same archaeological context, as well as some later documents sharing several features with them. |
