Résumé : New solutions of the monoenergetic Boltzmann equation in infinite homogeneous media are obtained as generalizations of results of Birkhoff and Abu-Shumays. Sources are polynomial or exponential with c ≠ 1 and anisotropic scattering is allowed. The main tool is a mean value theorem for polyharmonic polynomials. Closed form expressions are given for solutions of the Boltzmann equation for polynomial anisotropic sources.
