Résumé : | In a study of K+p interactions at 5 GeV/c, evidence is found for production of a baryon resonance with S = 0, I = 1 2, mass 1575 ± 19 MeV, width 128 ± 20 MeV. The observed decay branching ratio makes it plausible to identify this baryon with the S11 resonance found previously at 1570 MeV in the phase shift analysis of πp scattering. © 1991. |
