Résumé : 1‐Fluoropentahelicene and substituted derivatives have been synthesized by the photocyclodehydrogenation of 1,2‐di(2‐naphthyl) ethylenes (1) and 3‐styrylphenanthrenes (2). In two cases (la and 2d) the photocyclisations gave rise to benzo [g,h,i] perylenes (7, 8, 23, 24) a reaction involving either the loss (8, 24) or the migration (7, 23) of the fluorine atom.
