Résumé : | A novel approach to the understanding of the nuclear rainbow and Airy structure is presented. In particular, it is clarified that the transition between the region of relatively high incident energies where rainbow scattering has set in and lower energies where rainbow scattering has set in and lower energies where rainbow scattering is not yet observed but the nuclear "Airy minima" are clearly present. This paper focuses its discussion on calculations performed by discarding the imaginary part of the potential. |
