Résumé : | Little known in this contexte, the association between eating disorders (EDs) and schizophrenia is however common. EDs are involved in impaired quality of life and the development of many metabolic disorders in these vulnerable patients. Antipsychotic medications may lead to EDs and should be more extensively explored. We should sensitize patients, their families and caregivers, to improve screening and management of EDs in schizophrenia. |
