Résumé : This paper analyses the wage effect of educational and skills mismatches using cross-sectional data related to the twenty-eight European countries. The results show that over-education leads to wage penalties, but also that interactions between educational and skills mismatches suggest that the maximum of the wage penalty is reached when the worker is both over-educated and over-skilled.
