Résumé : A set of equations describing the process of carbon deposition from carbon monoxide on a metal catalyst is proposed. Solutions valid for high and low concentrations of CO are obtained and compared to experimental results. In the high concentration limit, the calculated cumulative curve for the amount of carbon deposited is in good agreement with the experimental data, whereas in the low concentration case the agreement is very good.
