Résumé : The infra‐red solvent‐shift method has been used in order to determine the carbon halogen stretching vibrations v(C‐Hal) in the I.R. spectra of cyclode‐cane chloride, bromide and iodide. This procedure leads to the attribution of a number of bands in agreement with the previsions based on the geometry of cyclodecane ring obtained from X rays data.
