Résumé : We used electrophysiology during a rhyme judgment task from written words in hearing and deaf participants. Two classical components, VCN elicited by the first stimulus, and N400, elicited by the second non rhyming stimulus, were present in all groups. The neural basis supporting the judgment of rhymes seems similar in deaf and hearing participants, despite differences in modality and content of the language experience.
