Résumé :

Using the monolayer model, a thermodynamic approach is suggested in order to compare the surface reactivity to the volume reactivity under both equilibrium and nonequilibrium conditions (sorption and chemical processes). Capillary parameters, such as surface tension and surface dilation, have a direct influence on the efficiency of chemical reactions and on their stability. © 1990 Società Italiana di Fisica.
