Résumé : In irrigation schemes in Morocco, it is difficult for individual small-scale farms to shift from surface to drip irrigation. Such cases represent an opportunity for a collective shift to drip irrigation. However, actors who provide support for a collective shift to drip irrigation tend to focus on technical issues and fail to help the project mature in farmers' groups, thus increasing the risk of failure. This article proposes a grid for analysing and monitoring projects concerning a collective shift to drip irrigation. The grid was tested in such projects in Moroccan oases and proved to be useful in obtaining an initial diagnosis. In turn, the diagnosis was used to design two workshops with farmers' groups and a visit to irrigation schemes where drip irrigation was already in use. The grid also proved useful to assess the learning of the farmers who participated in these activities. This analytical grid could also be used for other types of collective projects.
