Résumé : The authors review successively the following aspects of the relationships between the thyroid gland and the female sexual function during pregnancy: (1) the modifications of maternal thyroid function; (2) the part played by the placenta; (3) the ontogenesis of the foetal thyroid gland; (4) the thyroid function in the newborn; (5) the diagnosis and the treatment of hypothyroidism and hyperthyroidism of the pregnant women; (6) the postpartum.
