Résumé : A description is given of an electronic chronometer, controlled by a photo-electric cell, which enables one to measure the drop rate of the dropping mercury electrode to an accuracy of within 0.1%. The relation between the drop rate and the concentration of surface-active agents is discussed and the analytical potentialities of the method are briefly examined. © 1956.
