Résumé : On the basis of pharmaco-clinical data obtained in children and adults, the authors propose a nomogram for selecting the dosage regimen of the principal anti-epileptic drugs. The abacus shows the relationships between the plasma level of the drugs (phenobarbital, phenytoin, primidone, carbamazepine, valproic acid, ethosuximide), patient's age and dosage. The advantages and limitations of the use of the abacus for therapeutic surveillance of anti-epileptic drugs are discussed.
